As just the third country to send a satellite into orbit, Canada has a proud history of exploring space. Our astronaut program is probably the best-known aspect of our space program, but our technology has travelled to the stars through our own efforts and as part of American and international expeditions for more than 60 years. The November issue of Kayak explores the role of Canadian scientists, astronauts and others in creating ground-breaking technology and bringing back knowledge from space.
