The project is about my community, God’s Lake First Nation, and the signing of Treaty 5 in 1909. I wanted to know why my community signed an adhesion to Treaty 5 and what happened during the treaty signing and what was promised on August 6, 1909. Why did my community, God’s Lake First Nation, sign an adhesion to Treaty 5 in 1909? What happened and what was promised during the signing in 1909?
