Metal is essential to modern life, but most of us understand little about how it gets from the ground into everyday use. Marvellous Metals is an engaging, accessible and informative magazine for students from junior grades through high school, published by the Metallurgy and Materials Society of the Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum. 

Using clear language and student-friendly design, including a short comic, this 16-page magazine explores where metals come from, how they are processed, how they affect us and the environment, and the ways we use them. It also highlights some of the Canadian leaders and innovators who have shaped the mining and metallurgy industry in Canada and worldwide to be more sustainable and responsible, and some of the diverse people and jobs in these fields. 

Magazines are available in boxes of 100 and will be shipped in late March.
