Our countries fought their last war more than 200 years ago, but as in recent times, that doesn’t mean Canada has always been comfortable next to the United States. We’ve squabbled over borders and slapped tariffs on each other’s goods. We’ve also gone to battle together in the Second World War and helped each other out after disasters. The April issue of Kayak looks at some of the connections and disagreements between Canada and the U.S. that have been going on for centuries.

PLUS you’ll have access to free lesson plans and resources.

Kayak is aimed at grades 2–7.
