About the presenter

Kris Foulds has a passion for history that drew her to museum work in the 1980s when she started her career at the MSA Museum Society. She spent twenty-five years there, learning about Abbotsford’s unique and colourful heritage, working with the community, developing collections and expanding the exhibition and education program.

Kris participated on the planning and development committee for the Abbotsford Cultural Centre, which opened as The Reach Gallery Museum in 2008 and was honoured to be offered the position of Collections Manager for the new facility. Kris, along with the other members of The Reach staff team, works to celebrate the community through the stories of its citizens and creative expression of its artists.
