About the presenter

Dr. Paul Gareau is Métis and an assistant professor in the Faculty of Native Studies at the University of Alberta. He is the academic lead for the Indigenous Canada Massive Open Online Course (MOOC). His research focuses on the Métis, Indigenous religiosity, youth, gender, la francophonie, and rural Canada.
