Class Museum in Augmented Reality and Virtual 3D

After extensive research and thoughtful analysis, Jean-Philippe Payer’s students worked with a variety of digital tools, including 3D printers and 3D scanners, to reproduce and contextualize artifacts and works of art on loan from museums.

This presentation was part of the Making Big Stories Personal panel at the 12th Canada's History Forum, Small Stories, Big Ideas, held on January 19, 2020.

Governor General's History Awards Winner Jean-Philippe Payer is a secondary school social studies teacher at École Odyssée in Quebec City, Quebec. He is a recipient of the 2019 Governor General’s History Award for Excellence in Teaching.
