What was the most interesting thing you learned about your topic?

That there are so many talented artists in my area and learning from artists that live in the same province as you can do wonders. Something about seeing, learning, and even meeting some of these artists was really eye-opening to me.

What important lessons have you learned that you want to share with other Canadians?

That the importance of looking at the past even for something like art can help you improve in many ways.

How would you compare your life today to the lives of those studied in your project?

The one obvious thing we have in common is a love for painting. Much like many of the artists I put in my presentation I also love to tell stories in my own art.
