The Forgotten History Of Canada, Residential Schools

In this project, I make sure to make people know about the experiments on Indigenous people as well as the abuses that children had to bear. Residential schools were designed to convert Indigenous youth into the Canadian society, they were federally funded by the Canadian Government and National Health (Health Canada). The experiments were conducted to learn about the importance about the newly discovered vitamins and supplements. Ian Mosby made this topic come to the public light in 2013. There are some supporting images, as well as the timeline of the rise and the decline of residential schools.

What was the most interesting thing you learned about your topic?

Time and again humans be it in any society have proven they can be worst than any evil force. This can be concluded after analysis of the objectives and ill-motives of few authoritarians who committed such barbarian acts.

What important lessons have you learned that you want to share with other Canadians?

The lesson I have derived from this project is: 1) Whatever be the motive of any institution/ government, observance of human rights should always prevail. 2) Indigenous people of any state/country should always be given topmost priority and privileges because they are the sun of soil of that particular state/country.

How would you compare your life today to the lives of those studied in your project?

I believe I was fortunate enough to not fall for such disguised programs.
