Beyond The Arch of Victoria Beach

Victoria Beach is a 100-year-old cottage community found North-East from Winnipeg. I wanted to learn about its history.

What was the most interesting thing you learned about your topic?

The most interesting thing that I learned from this topic is that Victoria Beach is named after Queen Victoria and there are streets at VB named after other royalty.

What important lessons have you learned that you want to share with other Canadians?

From this project I have learned that even if something hasn't gone as planned that you still have to push through it and move on.

How would you compare your life today to the lives of those studied in your project?

I would say that the world has changed a lot, and that we are now more privileged than before. We now have different machines to help us live our lives.
