Vikings were more peaceful than you think. They just wanted to find new places to grow crops.

Christopher Columbus was not the first European in North America. The vikings landed in Newfoundland and stayed for 10 years.
How would you compare your life today to the lives of those studied in your project?
Vikings children had to learn to survive by themselves where today us children are very protected by our parents.
