What was the most interesting thing you learned about your topic?

I’ve learned that Viola was very determined and had made her own line of beauty products, all by herself!

I’ve learned that whatever you do NEVER give up.

How would you compare your life today to the lives of those studied in your project?

I’ve learned that in the past if you were considered to be “non-white” you would not be considered equal under the law like you are today.
