What was the most interesting thing you learned about your topic?

Probably about Maud's marriage. I didn't know how mean Everett actually was. I liked learning more about her disability.

What important lessons have you learned that you want to share with other Canadians?

That people with diseases or disabilities can do more than you expect. I learned the importance of respecting others and not to judge a book by its cover.

How would you compare your life today to the lives of those studied in your project?

I like art as well as Maud. I feel very lucky to not have a disability and I feel she had a harder life than I do today.
