What was the most interesting thing you learned about your topic?
How the Metis were strongly connected to music and it's importance in their culture.
What important lessons have you learned that you want to share with other Canadians?
The Metis were essential to the European Fur Traders because they taught them how to survive in the wilderness and helped develop a good relationship with the Indigenous people.
How would you compare your life today to the lives of those studied in your project?
My life today is so much easier because back then they had to hunt their own food, sew their own clothes and survive the harsh Winters.
