Canadian Mysteries

I focused my project on two of the most famous mysteries on the East Coast of Canada, the Ghost Ship of Northumberland Strait and Oak Island.

What was the most interesting thing you learned about your topic?

I learned that Canadians love hearing, talking, and learning about mysteries. A lot of Canadians will even stretch the truth to make a good story. Any time someone seen my project they always had there own version of the story.

What important lessons have you learned that you want to share with other Canadians?

That for both of these mysteries there is no "hard" evidence but people believe in them. Also people will dedicate their lives to try and uncover the mystery...

How would you compare your life today to the lives of those studied in your project?

Many people who I studied in my project were very "imaginative" people with lots of hope and drive. A lot of people today are lacking that, they won't believe things without proof.
