Young's Equipment
Young's Equipment is a Saskatchewan based company that provides equipment to many farms around Saskatchewan. They grow every year and keep on expanding. There are locations in Regina, Weyburn, Windthorst, Assiniboia and Moose Jaw.
What was the most interesting thing you learned about your topic?
That businesses can grow but it takes time. Sometimes staying in small communities can really grow your business. Farming has a huge impact on the world.
What important lessons have you learned that you want to share with other Canadians?
The most interesting this was that Young's Equipment has a $14 million dollar parts inventory. Also another thing that I found interesting was that the Young's family owned two other businesses before Young's Equipment.
How would you compare your life today to the lives of those studied in your project?
I don't own a business so I chose to do this on a business to learn what is like and how it can affect your life. I farm and buy my equipment from Young's so it gives me a better understanding of the company.
