Residential School

My project is about residential school. This video shows you how children grew up

What was the most interesting thing you learned about your topic?

The most interesting thing I have learned is getting to hear peoples stories and learning how they had to live everyday for years.

What important lessons have you learned that you want to share with other Canadians?

I learned that Residential School was a very horrible place at some time and that it improved over the years. I want people to know that residential school is not something that needs to be forgotten. We can't forget how they were treated. There are many ways we can help Residential school survivors, to forget about it.

How would you compare your life today to the lives of those studied in your project?

I cannot compare my life to children that went to Residential School they lived way different then the way people live now. I consider myself lucky to live in a home with my family rather then in a school.
