Goose Hunting

Goose hunting is a family tradition. It has always been a part of my family heritage.

What was the most interesting thing you learned about your topic?

Goose hunting involves all members of a family. Once I turn 12 I will be able to get my hunting license.

What important lessons have you learned that you want to share with other Canadians?

When we hunt a goose we usually put down tobacco to thank the creator for the food.

How would you compare your life today to the lives of those studied in your project?

We still use many parks of the goose including meat, feathers, and down, but hunting techniques have changed.
