That Sam McGee is based off of William Samuel McGee who is a real person.

What important lessons have you learned that you want to share with other Canadians?

There are many things that we may think we know about a subject but there is alot more to learn on the topic

How would you compare your life today to the lives of those studied in your project?

These days if we hike we are pleasured and it is for fun, back then it wasn't a choice it was something they had to do to survive or find gold.
