Life Stories & Legacies: Paulette Roziere Smith

The Life Stories & Legacies Heritage Fair Project presents the biography of my grandmother, Paulette Roziere Smith.  I learned a lot about her life, our family history, and how growing up in Canada was different for her generation.

What was the most interesting thing you learned about your topic?

She had a big family, with lots of brothers and sisters. She liked doing chores, especially checking the cows.

What important lessons have you learned that you want to share with other Canadians?

It's important to help your parents, because my Grandma did that when she was younger.

How would you compare your life today to the lives of those studied in your project?

My life is easier because the modern world is easier to live in. Life today is faster paced, and I like it that way.
