What was the most interesting thing you learned about your topic?

I learned a lot about my topic but the most interesting thing I learned was how long this land claim was held in the court systems.

What important lessons have you learned that you want to share with other Canadians?

That the hardships of First Nations Peoples have faced and face today are many, and have caused many problems between the Canadian government and First Nations Peoples.

How would you compare your life today to the lives of those studied in your project?

This project was not done on my ancestors per se but more so to shine light and help other Canadians understand that broken treaties have long lasting impacts on my people.
