The Keystone XL Pipeline

The Keystone XL Pipeline is about why the pipeline is creating conflict, the good and bad things about it, and people’s opinions.

What was the most interesting thing you learned about your topic?

The most interesting thing that I learned from my project was that the Keystone has over 57 safety conditions built into it so that if it hurts the environment, it will do as little damage possible.

What important lessons have you learned that you want to share with other Canadians?

An important lesson that I learned was to always listen to other peoples opinions as well as your own. Listening to other peoples opinions can help you learn important information that you might have not known before and can add to what you know and what you are going to say to people.

How would you compare your life today to the lives of those studied in your project?

My life would be pretty boring compared to Trans Canada because they are in a huge debate right now with the President of the U.S. about whether he should say yes to building the Keystone XL Pipeline and I'm just a grade 6 girl doing a project about them.
