A Talk About House In Fort Selkirk
I made the video of a pioneer talking to a NWMP about houses in fort selkirk. They went in the house of the pioneer to talk more.
What was the most interesting thing you learned about your topic?
That Robert Campbell found the site of Fort Selkirk and that the Chilcats destroyed the first HBC that Campbell built there.
What important lessons have you learned that you want to share with other Canadians?
About the history of Fort Selkirk and the Chilkoot Trail. I've hiked the Chilkoot Trail and paddled the Yukon River with my classmates.
How would you compare your life today to the lives of those studied in your project?
My life is very modern and does not have the physical challenges that people like Robert Campbell faced on the land.
