The anti-gravity suit

My projects is about the invention and development of the anti-gravity suit or informally known as the G-suit. It explores the impact on flight saftey and how this invention swayed the outcome Second World War.

What was the most interesting thing you learned about your topic?

In all honesty I have always been more interested in the sciences. Therefore the thing most interesting to me was the science of how the G-suit worked, the science of it. I also found the events leading up to the invention very interesting.

What important lessons have you learned that you want to share with other Canadians?

I learned that while America is often considered one of the heroes of the Second World War, the other countries namely Canada also had an important role. I also learned a little bit about how influential the University of Toronto in science with the discovery of insulin as well as the G-suit.

How would you compare your life today to the lives of those studied in your project?

This invention was one of technology's biggest innovations at the time. In this day and age, we rely much more heavily on the internet and technology.
