This project details the exploits of the 1st Canadian Parachute Battalion during the Second World War.
What was the most interesting thing you learned about your topic?
The most interesting thing I learned about my topic was that this battalion went the farthest into Germany than any other Canadian unit in the 2nd World War.
What important lessons have you learned that you want to share with other Canadians?
The most important lesson that I learned was that even though this unit was smaller than most, they still got the job done no matter what dangers they faced.
How would you compare your life today to the lives of those studied in your project?
I would compare my life to the lives of the men of the 1st Canadian Parachute Battalion because like these men, I wish to one day serve my country with the Canadian army.
