What was the most interesting thing you learned about your topic?
Newcastle is really historical. It has a lot of old buildings.
What important lessons have you learned that you want to share with other Canadians?
It is a lot of work to do when you want to learn about history. Lots of important things weren’t written down so you have to ask people questions.
How would you compare your life today to the lives of those studied in your project?
Life was not the same as it is today. They didn’t have the same technology. Most of the houses were made of wood. Also, people were more likely to get sick.
