The Archives of Ontario has a comprehensive virtual exhibit about the War of 1812. The exhibit provides a good context for the war, and takes visitors through the key battles and events of the conflict. The exhibit also provides good insight into the everyday experiences of both soldiers and civilians, and looks at topics ranging from military tactics to health and sickness.

The exhibit showcases some of the treasures from the archives’ holdings and allows visitors to examine high resolution documents, drawings, maps, and art.
