What was the most interesting thing you learned about your topic?

Canadians took bicycles on the D-Day landing crafts! Also, I learned a lot about PEI's role in World War 2.

What important lessons have you learned that you want to share with other Canadians?

I learned the importance of D-day and how it affected World War 2. If they had not launched this attached in 1944, the war could have gone on for much longer and many more lives could have been lost.

How would you compare your life today to the lives of those studied in your project?

Some of the soldiers in D-Day were not much older than me.
