10 Questions about Canada

This year’s Canada Day Quiz was created by Will Ferguson, inspired by his book  Meanwhile, Back in Nokomis: Tales from Canada and Elsewhere, ©2026. Published by Douglas & McIntyre.

All quiz participants are eligible to enter our draw for a chance to win our grand prize of a one-year subscription to Canada’s History magazine plus a copy of our best-selling book “100 Days that Changed Canada.”

There are nine secondary prizes of a one-year subscription to Canada’s History magazine. You may exit the quiz at any point, but in order to be eligible for the draw you must provide your name and email address at the end of the quiz so that we may contact you. 

If you haven’t read the official rules, please do so before beginning the quiz. You do not need to have a perfect score to be eligible, participation in the quiz is enough. After doing the quiz you will see a web link to Will’s answers.
