What’s your story?
We all have stories to tell. Is your organization’s story resonating with your local community or would you like to learn new approaches? Canada’s History storytelling workshops will help you connect your organization’s stories to your community.
This winter, Canada’s History, with the support of the Winnipeg Foundation and the Manitoba Heritage Grants Program, will host a series of workshops in Manitoba designed to help your organization better share your story, using a variety of tools.
A series of workshops will help attendees learn more about:
• building ‘storytelling’ capacity
• boosting confidence to share stories
• raising your organization’s profile
• increasing the number of visitors to your facility through new stories and fresh perspectives!
The Canada’s History storytelling workshops will be offered in Manitoba in 2020 with the launch of a new internship. Up to 6 workshops will be held in different regions throughout the province that will be open to museums, archives, and heritage groups.
Interested organizations can complete the pre-registration form below to receive more information as it becomes available. Your responses will also guide the program design so please take the time to tell us more about your needs!
