Kristine Alexander discusses her research into the exchange of letters between soldiers and their families during the Great War, and how these letters provide insight into family life during wartime.

Kristine Alexander is Assistant Professor of History at the University of Lethbridge and Canada Research Chair in Child and Youth Studies. She is the Director of the University of Lethbridge’s Institute for Child and Youth Studies and a co-editor of the peer-reviewed journal Jeunesse: Young People, Texts, Cultures.
