The Heritage Fairs program encourages students to explore Canadian heritage in a dynamic, hands-on learning environment. Students use the medium of their choice to tell stories about Canadian heroes, legends, milestones, and achievements - and present the results of their research at a public exhibition.
Canada’s History proudly supports HeritageFairs.ca, an interactive website that showcases projects and provides all the information regarding the Heritage Fairs program. Find Heritage Fairs in your community as well documents to help complete your project or fair.
As a warm-up to the Heritage Fairs, Stamp Stories is our heritage stamp design contest that kids can enter. The top 25 entries are posted on our website. For more information and entry forms, visit HeritageFairs.ca. Below is a photo gallery of the 2010 winning entries.
