2013 Call for Nominations!

The Canadian Museums Association (CMA) is pleased to partner with Canada's History Society to present the 3rd annual Governor General's History Award for Excellence in Museums: History Alive! The CMA is now accepting nominations for this year's award which will be presented in November 2013 by His Excellency the Right Honourable David Johnston during a special ceremony at Rideau Hall.

Museums, art galleries or individuals wishing to submit nominations for the 2013 History Alive! award are invited to complete and forward the application form and all required documentation supporting their nomination to the Canadian Museums Association by Friday, August 16, 2013.
